If you were in a car accident
We come to you, and we bill the insurance, not you
After a crash, getting to and from a medical office is the last thing you need. Here is how treatment works for car-accident injuries.
We come to you
Call to set up your first free consultation. A Doctor of Physical Therapy schedules your initial examination and brings the equipment to your home.
In-house doctor's appointment
A full physical exam, an individualized plan of care, and clear recommendations. Any referrals, second opinions, or imaging you need are arranged.
We charge the insurance, not you
Care for car-accident injuries is typically at no cost to you. We coordinate with the insurance company and bill them directly.
Treatment at no out-of-pocket cost applies to car-accident injury cases billed to the at-fault party's insurance or your PIP coverage. See the FAQ for how this works in Utah and what to expect in Idaho.
Why Us
Do not wait and see
Our expert staff brings everything needed to treat you to your home, so nothing about your recovery depends on you finding a ride, a parking spot, or a free afternoon.
Getting seen quickly matters. Early treatment supports healing, and a medical professional documents your injuries properly from the start.
“After a car accident, we understand that you might not feel well enough to move around. That is why we come to you when others can't.”
Diane Hagen, MPT
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tiffany Copper
“I was involved in a car accident that resulted in a few injuries, but thanks to Diane and her team, I was able to make a full recovery. Diane provided me with physical therapy and was even willing to come to my house for treatments, which was very convenient for me as I didn't have to leave the house during my recovery. What's more, her team handled all the insurance and payment details, so I didn't have to worry about spending a dime out of pocket. I am grateful for the excellent care and attention I received from Diane and her team, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of physical therapy.”

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can I have treatment at your office?
Yes. Some patients would rather not be seen at home, or cannot be. For those patients we are able to see you at one of our office locations in Lindon, Murray, Bountiful, Ogden, Meridian, or Idaho Falls. Call (385) 262-3306 in Utah or (208) 992-3324 in Idaho to make an appointment.
What does treatment cost after a car accident?
Utah requires most drivers to carry personal injury protection, or PIP. It is a “no-fault” policy, meaning your PIP covers your medical bills after a car accident regardless of who was at fault, up to $3,000 unless more coverage was purchased.
The rules above are Utah's. Coverage after a car accident works differently in Idaho, so if you were injured there, call us and we will review your specific coverage and how your care would be billed before anything starts.
Once PIP benefits are paid out and more care is still needed, a claim is filed with the at-fault driver's insurance company. We work with your attorney to make sure you are not charged.
Care that is not related to a car accident is billed according to the arrangement we agree with you before care begins.
This is general information about how Utah PIP works, not legal or financial advice. Your own coverage and circumstances may differ.
Should I get an attorney?
We generally recommend an attorney to help navigate the complexities of this process. Contact us and we can connect you with trusted attorneys in your state. Whether to hire one is entirely your decision, and we are not a law firm.
What will my physical therapist bring with them?
We provide state-of-the-art equipment to every treating provider so the best possible care is delivered in your home.
Your therapist always brings a foldable treatment table, so you have a comfortable, safe place for manual therapy and exercise. They also bring tools for soft tissue work and exercise, including cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, weights, and TheraBand, along with intake paperwork and printouts of your prescribed exercises and stretches.
What do I need to have ready?
Before your session, please have a well-lit area of roughly 6×10 feet available in a living space such as an entry room or family room. Therapy cannot be performed in a back room or bedroom.
Wear loose-fitting clothing such as a shirt with pants or athletic wear. Therapy cannot be provided in dresses, skirts, or tight, restrictive clothing.
